A studio recording of the same program as "Live In Europe," considered guitarist/vocalist Monette Sadler's own masterpiece In the early summer of 1978, Monette Sadler was in Copenhagen, Denmark, for her first European tour with her band. On June 6, two days before their show at the famous Club Montmartre, they recorded the same program at Sweet Silence Studios. The live recording was released in 1979 as "Live In Europe" (SCCD 31102), and Jorgen Siegmfeldt of Information said, "... . her best recording to date. Her musical and instrumental expression has reached a wider dimension, and the 22-minute 'LibraRising' is the best souvenir of her latest appearance in Montmartre..." I was very pleased with the quality of the recording," he said. The studio recordings, however, had for some reason been forgotten by those involved for 40 years and buried in the dark recesses of history. The studio recordings were unearthed, digitized, mixed, and re-mastered, and are now available for purchase.This is a good album that reminds us of the first appearance of a young and developing artist.
