This is the third collection of Satie: The Complete Piano Works, recorded using a new edition published in 2016 by Salabert, a French publisher with over 100 years of history. This collection also contains many "world premiere" recordings, making it a must-have for fans of Satie's music. The third collection contains works written between 1892 and 1897, including "Vexation" (only 7 minutes long), which takes about 20 hours if the same melody is played 840 times, as Satie instructed, "Repeat the same melody 840 times," the ballet music "Uspieux," and a unique piece called "Cold Pieces. The works on the program include the unique ballet music "Uspyu" and cold pieces. Horvat is playing the historic Erard, which belonged to Cosima Wagner. The sound of Satie's time when she was active is brought back to life as it was.
