If you’re installing an LED kit in a vehicle equipped with PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) the All In One Harness (Anti-Flicker Harness or also called a Decoder) is required to eliminate the flicker of the headlights and dashboard “light out” errors.

For use with LED headlight and fog light bulbs that deploy CANbus and PWM. These decoders install quickly by plugging the decoder directly into the vehicle headlight connector. These decoders are designed to be installed between the light and the vehicle. These harnesses have been tested for compatibility in (MOPAR) Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, (German) VW, BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz, (Japanese) Subaru, (North American) Ford Transit and many other CANbus system currently in use.

Overview – Newer vehicles use PWM technology to reduce power consumption and manage specific devices by sending a defined pulse of alternating voltage to the headlight bulb as opposed to a stable 12VDC. Factory installed incandescent or halogen bulbs can handle this pulse system as they won’t dim before the next pulse of power is received. However, an LED bulb is digital and can respond quickly. LED requires constant VDC power or will flicker if installed in a vehicle with a PWM headlight system. The All In One Harness (Anti-Flicker Harness or also called a Decoder) is designed to ensure that your headlights don’t flicker and eliminate “lamp-out” error codes.

Installation is plug and play without having to worry about polarity. Inside each All In One Harness is a capacitor and a resistor. The resistor eliminates dash errors and the capacitor eliminates flickering. Each decoder is the same box and only the ends are different.
