The Magnepan CCR Center Channel Speaker (Each) combines planar-magnetic midrange drivers with a true ribbon tweeter, allowing extremely low mass diaphragms to respond instantly to signal changes. This results in clean, articulate dialogue without the compression artifacts common in box speakers.

The ribbon tweeter provides extended high-frequency detail and excellent dispersion, preserving vocal clarity even at lower listening levels.

As with all Magnepan speakers, careful placement and appropriate amplification are recommended.

System Integration & Amplifier Matching

The CCR presents a 4-ohm load and benefits from amplifiers capable of stable current delivery. It is intended for use with Magnepan front speakers and a powered subwoofer to complete the system.
