50s play suit or bathing suit by Mc Inerny of Honolulu. The fabric is cotton and the most mid century mod print imaginable, in colors of yellow, tan, brown and white. Has an abstract tiki vibe to it! The suit is fully lined in matching yellow cotton. The sweetheart neckline has thin adjustable straps that button in back. The bodice is fitted with darts and princess seams and ruched pleats at the bust. Does not have a built in bra. Elastic smocked sides still have stretch! Shorts attached at the natural waist. There's a 15" long metal zipper in back. Two condition issues: There are some green ink like stains on the inside of the bodice, not visible from the outside. Also the leg edge of the shorts lining has lost it's stretch. If you are wearing this as a romper, it won't make a difference, but you could sew on new elastic if you want it snug. Rockabilly pin up perfection in this 50s swim suit!
