A collection that brings together the combined forces of the Royal Ballet to document the unparalleled dancer Nunez at the peak of her career! Marianela Nunez joined the Royal Ballet as a dancer from Argentina, and over the course of two decades, she has excelled in both the Ballet's classical ballet tradition and in new modern ballet works. The collection includes four representative works from Nunez's 16 years as a principal dancer, in which she performed leading roles in all of the company's classical, dramatic, and contemporary repertoire. In "Swan Lake," Nunez gives a tragic yet graceful performance as Odette and her rival Odile, in "La fille mal garde" as Lise, a maiden in love, and in Carlos Acosta's "Don Quixote" as the brilliant and lively Kitri.
